Aging in Place is growing older without having to move and it is what most older Americans desire as they age.
According to the Journal of Housing for the Elderly, it is not having to move from one's present residence in order to secure necessary support services in response to changing need.

Darke County is an easy county for older adults to age-in-place as most of the stores and services we need are right here and easy to get to. Additionally, our doctors' office and hospital are easy to access and traffic is light. For those who no longer drive, public transportation is available.
